Mechanus gear

This heavy armor is composed of multiple gears, cogs, plates, and other metal mechanical contraptions. It grants an armor bonus superior to all other armors, but it reduces the wearer’s speed more than other types of heavy armor do.

It seems obvious that the mechanical gears lowers you base movement more so than typical heavy armor. Thus wearing this armor should always provide a -5 ft movement penalty. This is regardless of class features or special materials. Thus a Dwarf's base move would still be 15 ft. Making it out of Mithral turns this into a medium armor, but you still take the -5 penalty. Thus a Human wearing Mithral Mechanus gear armor still has a base movement of 15 ft. If you could somehow make this armor Weightless or Light then a base 30 ft would become a base 25 ft movement.
